According to the Indian Mythology
of Hindus, it is believed that there are 3 supreme gods. Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu
and Lord Shiva. Lord Brahma is known for the creation, Vishnu ruling and Shiva
for destruction with positive side.
On
one day, Lord Brahma and Vishnu were arguing each that regarding who is more powerful.
Then suddenly a big pillar with endless roots and branches appeared. They
stopped their arguments and starred at the pillar. Immediately Lord Brahma went
up side to see the starting of the pillar and later Lord Vishnu went to see the
root of the pillar by digging. But both of them could not find the end. In the meanwhile,
Lord Shiva came out from an opening in the middle of the pillar. Then Lord Vishnu
and Brahma decided that Lord Shiva is much powerful than them and he is the
supreme god.
From then, it is believed and knows
that Lord Shiva is the Supreme of this world and he rules it.
